The updaters in this post cover all Vertex, Vertex EX, Agility, and Agility EX. NO TURBO for the files in this post. 1 more thing to check on the Turbo drives, hopefully posting later today about that.
VERTEX EX 120GB is not included in the update for some reason. I will fix it as soon as I can.
If your Vertex or Agility drive has FW 1.42 on it from the factory, DO NOT flash this update.
Same rules as the 1.4 updaters, this works in IDE mode only (you can't be in AHCI), on Macs detection is slow...so be patient.
Boot to the ISO...the first screen you will see is this:
This first screen is the drive detection screen, you need to input the drive number...this then tells the detector to call the correct FW flasher for your drive.
I input 1 and hit enter, then the following screen pops up:
So now you have to hit Y for the flasher to detect the drive...do NOT hit enter...the Y is all you need, i obviously have to enter 1 to flash the drive then hit enter there after.
You can run the CD again to verify that you have 1.5 FW on the drive, as it will show in the 1st screen.
If you have a Mac, I do suggest before you boot to the ISO to flash your drive that you clear (zap) PRAM 3 times...then boot to the ISO and follow the instructions you see here...then once flashed reboot and zap PRAM again at least 3 times.
On a PC make sure you flash with no overclock on the machine, the SSD is in IDE mode and the first SATA port. Flash one drive at a time and make sure you clear cmos thoroughly and reset timings etc before you boot back to windows if you see issues after the flash.
The best way to clear CMOS is to remove all power to the motherboard and remove the CMOS battery...then short the battery terminals with the edge of the battery or a coin for 2 minutes. I do this in preference to using the CMOS jumper as quite often the CMOS jumper is not thorough enough.
This release has TRIM And GC all in 1 package, only 1 ISO for each drive type.

DO NOT FLASH THIS IF YOUR FW IS ALREADY AT 1.42. Those drives have Nand that is not supported in this update. I will have more on this later.
